What Is The Most Comfortable Bluetooth Headset? Today's Models Reviewed

Updated on October 9, 2014

Looking For The Most Comfortable Bluetooth Headset?

The ability to talk on your cell phone without having to hold the phone to your ear is a great benefit when you work a job that requires you to be on the phone all day. To be able to have your hands free to do other things like type, drive, or even wash the dishes can be a great time saver. I often spend hours a day on the phone and use to get pain in my arm from holding the phone to my ear all the time. I don't have to worry about that anymore with the most comfortable Bluetooth headsets.

They are becoming easier and more comfortable to wear as the technology progresses. Only a few years ago these devices use to be clunky, clumsy, and not very fun to wear. Today's models are sleek, stylish, and fit better with the natural contours of your face.

There are currently two basic ways these devices can be worn. One way is with the use of an ear clip. The clip is placed over the ear allowing the unit to rest on top of the ear. This style use to be very uncomfortable due to the large size of the unit. They are now smaller and less cumbersome making them much easier to wear. The other way is with the use of a silicone type ear bud that rests inside the ear canal. This style is much easier to wear but some people have complained about their ear hurting after hours of use. I have found that devices with both styles tend to work best. The clip carries more of the load while the ear bud helps secure it in place.

I now have two different models that I use often. I tend to switch every few days when I need a change in style or if I run the batteries low on one model. I always have the other one charging and ready to go at a moments notice. If you are looking for a more comfortable and easier to use model then any of the models featured here work great. Bose Bluetooth Headset Series 2

This is a great model for everyday use!

This is one of the most comfortable models available. It has a slight curve that follows the contours of your face and the part that fits inside of your ear is made of a soft silicone like material that fits snugly in place. You don't have to worry about it falling out or jarring it loose when you accept a call.

Not only is it very comfortable it is also very easy to use. All of the buttons have been placed on top of the unit making it very easy to accept or end a call. The placement of the buttons are more ergonomically located allowing you to use a more natural motion with your hand when working the controls.

This model also features great technology for a clearer, higher quality sound experience. I am blown away at how this unit can recognize background noise. If the noise is loud then this model will automatically adjust the volume so can hear better. This is an amazing piece of technology and I highly recommend it. Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth Headset

A great model at a great price!

This unit is by far one of my favorites. I have used this model for a while now and find it to be very comfortable and simple to use. It is designed to comfortably rest over the ear and the ear bud is just the right size for my ear and doesn't move around when I accept or end a call.

With a 7 hour talk time there is plenty of power to make it throughout the day unless you use it for work where you can be on the phone all day. I have heard that some people buy two or three units and switch them out as needed.

With this model there are no accept or end call buttons. To answer a call just place it in your ear. If you are already wearing the unit then a voice will signal who the caller is and you just say "answer". The sound quality is also amazing on this model. It seems to cancel out all of the background noise and mostly picks up your voice.

This model is top of the line and one of the most comfortable available. Don't forget to click on the link to get full product details and reviews.

Motorola HX550 Universal Bluetooth Headset

A fantastic piece of technology!

This model is extremely comfortable to wear. It doesn't have that big, thick ear hook that can push your ear out making it uncomfortable to wear. This unit comes with a thin hook that is very comfortable and hardly noticeable. You also have the choice to wear this model without using the hook. When you don't want to use the hook just switch out the attachment to an in ear piece.

With this unit you don't have to fumble around for the answer or end call button. To answer an incoming call all you have to do is flip open the headset and to end the call just close it. That's a great hassle free feature. This model has an excellent range. If you are not close to your phone then don't worry. It has a range of up to 300 feet.

I thoroughly enjoy the long talk time that this model offers. It will work up to 9 hours with continuous use and has a standby time of up to 16 days. This one has great, crystal clear sound quality as well. This unit is by far one of the best ones for the money. Check out the link to get full product details.

Jabra SUPREME Bluetooth Headset

Extremely comfortable and easy to use!

This model is very comfortable to wear on a daily basis. It actually sits on the ear as opposed to using the ones with the silicone ear buds. It can become uncomfortable having the ear bud in your ear all day and could even cause damage to your ear.

This one has up to 6 hours of talk time and can stay in standby mode for up to 15 days. It also charges via the included AC charger or you can use a USB cable and connect it to your computer. Its super easy to turn on and off. Just unfold the arm to turn it on and fold it up to turn the unit off.

This model also has some of best sound quality. It is one of the first to incorporate noise cancellation for background noise. The voice controls also work great on this one. When you are receiving a call it will notify you who is calling and all you have to do is use a voice command to answer. This is a great little unit and works wonderfully with compatible phones.

Plantronics 38885-01 Voyager PRO UC B230

Very comfortable unit and stays in place!

I have tried several different variations of this model and have found this one to be the most comfortable. I guess it really just depends on the shape of the individual ear. This one is shaped where it will comfortably wrap around your ear. The hook isn't too big either. It is lightweight which makes it seem like there isn't a huge earpiece in your ear.

This model can also be used with your computer. You can receive calls from your computer with the included USB adapter. It also comes with software to help customize your unit. It has a great 6 hour talk time and can be fully recharged in just 3 hours.

This sound quality is outstanding with the noise reduction technology. If you are looking for an excellent unit for use with your PC or phone then this is it. I highly recommend this model. Be sure to click on the link to get all of the product details and reviews.
